I love going for high rounds. While the pride/leaderboard component is in there, for me it's more about the test of endurance.
When going for as long as possible, you will eventually break down and fatigue. When you fatigue, simple mistakes get made. Being able to cope with those simple mistakes while your fatigued can be a big challenge. I enjoy going back in on both solo and with other players to see if I can push with more endurance than I did before.
It's definitely not for everyone. A sprinter probably wouldn't want to run a marathon.
It's just different strokes for different folks.
