Well metroid prime is single player. So you're not facing against people using DA, etc. The controls are okay there because there's not too much pressure to turn and make quick movements. Now replicate those same settings to play like metroid in BO2, and I don't know about you, but I'd get wrecked with the slow turning and large deadzones.
