Re: A video talking about CoD ghosts numbers

It's certainly easier, which in part explains why Ghosts isn't as popular. So many people want to try and find that easy mode, which is why so many people resort to sitting in a corner, because it's less taxing on their brain. Fast TTKs (no we dont have actual faster TTKs, more OP weapons or lower health [it's still 100], just better hit detection), amplify, IEDs, bigger maps with more hidey holes, a change in "feel" leading to people not wanting to put so much effort in to adapt, the list goes on. Somehow this sounds like I'm trying to justify camping, which isn't the case; it's cheap AF and winds me up every time I see it in every/every other lobby on Ghosts, because it's just cheap as lazy.

But I can absolutely see why people want to go back to MW3, or BO2 (I've never even played that, but numbers speak for themselves). I've got MW3 on 360, which I enjoyed so much despite only starting to play online in Nov 2013 (internet issues). Even with invisible godmoders and everyone being far better and more experienced than me I got angry far less than I do on Ghosts. I only stick with Ghosts because it's the only game I have on PS4 so far, I do well on it (approaching 2kd vs my 1.13kd on MW3) despite all the rage-inducing BS, and after experiencing the joy of using a PS4 controller with my small girl hands, I can no longer use the 360 controller lmao (especially with its loose right stick, sniping is a b*tch for me on there now for example).

Even with the generally smaller maps, I never had spawn problems on MW3 (apart from spawn trap lobbies, or a few rare instances on Dome), people rarely sat in corners, there was no BS knifing, and games never went to time limit because everyone's too scared to move from their tent. Thermal L86 was OP in MW3, yet it wasn't abused like the thermal M27 is in Ghosts, let alone by people hiding in a building (why would you need a high powered scope, let alone an LMG?). Then the already nerfed snipers were nuked again, even to the point where a 40rpm weapon has its already slow reload nerfed and reload cancelling removed, whereas a Vector or R5 can still do it (balance?!). Obj games didn't reward obj play until 6 months after the game was released - who came up with that gem? The list goes on...

For that reason, I really look forward to Sledgehammer's take on the series.
