I think that the title of this thread is wrong. It should be 'Camping IS this game'.
And it is exactly the the game the devs created (and the same as all recent CODs).
Because the devs have included a bunch of camping aids (IEDs, motion detectors, even the f******g dog) that are specifically intended to guard you whilst you camp a corner.
And because the killstreak-dominated gameplay encourages you to camp (whether you are trying to stay alive to permit your existing killstreak to earn you more kills for the nextkillstreak; whether you are trying to hide from the enemy hinds, helos, gryphons etc).
So it is not camping players that are ruining the game. They are simply exploiting the benefits and edges that the devs have given them.
It is the devs who designed a camping game.
