No worries, go to a speed test site which will test your ping, connection speed, download speed, upload speed and packet loss.
This is just indicative of your connection to that particular test server so you may want to try a few different servers ones based on locations.
Eg: Different states/countries.
This will give you an idea as to how your connection will perform under good to perfect conditions.
Remember that when you are playing COD it is a peer-to-peer connection so your connection quality is determined by whomever is hosting that particular game.
If their connection is sub-par or crap, yours will be too as it will be bottlenecked by their upload/download limitations.
