ive never had trouble partied up with him, though i seem to notice a change when im partied up with anyone, heck nap and i connect pretty well but occasionally we get stuck against someone who seems to have some sort of god-mode going on. there are so many factors that play into it. i just recently switched up my ethernet cable from the standard one that came with the router to this thinner and a few foot shorter yellow one the cable tech had purposely left for me, and im even noticing improvements from just that. you mentioned something about differences in cables the other day so i thought id give it a go. i seem to be able to run/jump/slide more easily . very interesting.
