I am all for banning people who deserve it, but there are a lot of innocent people getting banned. Take my family for example. We have done nothing wrong and yet we started with an account banned and now our system. We don't cheat, don't know how or what to mod, and we do not use foul language when playing, in fact 99.5% of the time we do not use a mic.
I was playing COD Ghosts with my son this morning and after a few round of domination I took a break and when I returned to play few more rounds with him my account was banned. He continued to play under his account until he wanted to take a break. He turned off our PS3. Just a little bit ago we went back on COD Ghosts and low and behold an error appeared on both our accounts, now stating our console is permanently banned.
This is ridiculous and uncalled for. There is definitely something wrong with Activision and COD Ghosts permanently banning both player's accounts and systems. I hope this gets fixed soon.
We are now considering a permanent ban on all Activision games on our PS3 if there is NO reason as to why the banning is taking place, No apology for wrongfully banning accounts and/or PS3 systems which were not violating any rules is given, and if the banned accounts and PS3 systems are NOT restored.
Customer Service is not very helpful and we hope that an Activision Manager somewhere will take the time to review the banning concerns that are flooding the forms and recover as many loyal customers as they can before it is too late, but given this happening mostly on the weekend, my hopes are not high, I my family is waiting until the end of next week to see if there is any resolution before we return all our Activision games to our nearest GameStop next weekend.
