LOL, yeah i've been caught in a corner as well, happens every now and then when i'm not 100% focused. But I am aware of the riot shield on my back, I actually use it a lot to catch the rhinos attention while the others shoot, also, sometimes when I smack a rhino with the riotshield, it kinda sits him down and gives you space and time to finish him off. Also, I'm pretty good at being the first person back to the helicopter on the Evac. so i am usually stuck there alone for 10 seconds, where i'm forced to hold the rhinos off with the riot shield while the rest arrive. Yet, it is only in certain areas I know it is efficient to use that I am aware of it, other than that, it just sits on my back and piggy back rides the entire game hoping for me to need it.
