After looking through the forum for a similar thread, I decided to start a discussion here.
The questionmark is put in brackets because I'm actually not sure if it is a glitch or I am just an unlucky guy, so I would like you to tell me what it is.
We all know the teammate kill glitch where you blow yourself and your teammates close to you up using an IED, but this isnt the case I want to discuss, just to reduce the comments on that part of the game right from the start.
Infected starts mostly by several players running around the map for a good camping/defending spot against the infected or people hiding, normally people are looking at each other in silent mutual agreement, that the one who gets infected gets killed immediately or gets an easy kill to not be alone in his duty to kill the survivors.
And this is where my problem starts, on several games I was looking at the infected and won the gunfight head on, by chance or prowess, it doesnt matter, what happened was, I turned into an infected the moment I killed the guy (yes he was the infected unless you can use the bulldog/MTS/MSBS for a little while longer after the countdown runs out).
Another time I killed the first infected from behind and he left, a new infected was designated, which happened to be lying a few inches next to me to the left, I jumped in and shot him again head on, turning into an infected myself again (I was going 2-0 so he didnt kill me).
While I am at it, I will ask about another occurence as well.
I was looking head on to the first infected, getting the kill after shooting right into his face, while another survivor designated me to shoot if I would turn infected.
Now what happened, the guy shot at me (friendly fire on a core mode) and killed me, turning me into an infected, I looked at the killcam and say exactly what I believed happened.
The one in front of me turned yellowish, got shot, while I still remained a soldier with the blue hip fire cone of the MTS when you look at friends (or how to describe it), he was aiming in and killing me.
So here comes my question,did any of you experienced a similar absurdity, or maybe the same or am I just seeing things now?
