Haha, I don't mind the Hobbit jokes to be honest but yeah I was ticked off after a couple of bad nights of playing the game.

Since you'll asking about opinions about Ghosts, I'll go ahead and give my view on the game so far. Bear in mind that no one has the same opinion about the game as I do so there may be some disagreement.
If I was to rate Ghosts amongst the more recent COD titles, I would rate it above MW3 but below BO1 and BO2. To me, it's an improved MW3 but lacks in the "fun factor" that I had with both BO1 and BO2. BO2 did have it's issues but it was still a fun game, I don't get that same experience playing Ghosts.
- The maps are dull to play on and there is no flow to them. Compared to the recent COD titles I've played, I find myself hating most of the maps in Ghosts and the dynamic events that take place on some maps are quite disappointing.
-The gameplay is slow and if you don't like campers and players who play more passively, it can be frustrating at times. I've forced myself to play slow and it's really something I find very boring but have learnt to deal with it in the game.
- The spawns are terrible despite the recent patches and you'll have to constantly check your back if someone spawns behind you. I don't get how spawns can be messed up on large maps.
- The pointstreak system is flawed. Caters less to objective players and more to players who don't play the objective in objective game modes.
If I could summarize my experience with Ghosts so far in one word, it would be "boring". I don't get the same excitement as I did with previous COD titles. But this isn't to say it's a completely terrible game though. IW did make some improvements over MW3 such as removing deathstreaks and reducing the lethality of support pointstreaks.
