Exactly. Not to offend or insult anyone, but I often find the people who favour BO2 so much are the ones who aren't so good on BO1.
In fairness to the people I mentioned in the post, namely Grrr, Yoda and Shadow... I have played with all 3 of them on various BO1 maps, and they are all equally as good on BO1 as they are on BO2, but their scores were not a mirror reflection of the ones they have on BO2.
My post was a little condescending because I made the point wrong. All 3 of these players have 30+ co-op scores on BO1, but they all have 50+ co-op scores on BO2.
They are ALL phenomenal players at this game mode, and my point was merely that the scores they have on both games is a definite example of difficulty in both games.
I have a round 54 for Ascension, 41 for Kino and 41 for CotD. They are not overly amazing, but they took me months to obtain. On Ascension, I went from 31 to 40, then 41, 43, 49, 51, 53 then finally 54. I tried for months to better it but could not. This is the same for the other maps. You could not just cruise through the rounds on W@W and BO1 maps. It definitely took some skill to get to the higher rounds, and this does not really seem to be the case on BO2 maps.
BO2 maps are definitely time based as opposed to skill based.
